Travis
Hailing from the Atlanta area, Travis is a worship musician, writer and music producer. His background is primarily in orchestral and classical music, but he has been active in rock, Christian, hip-hop, country and electronica. He received his certificate from the Berklee School of Music in Boston, and he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in music in early 2000.
Travis has owned his MiKo LX Gen 4 for less than a year, and he has already made it his full touring machine. Focusing on sequencing programs such as Abelton Live, Travis spends 4 to 5 days a week on the stage, bringing his pre-made content to a live situation.
He works extensively with West Side Recording in Houston, TX with Owner/Producer Tan Truong and is a member of the Daniel Pratt Band: a praise and worship band from The Woodlands, TX.
Currently, Travis is working with Open Labs on developing a new product for the praise and worship market, and is producing an album for the Mountain Lake Church in Georgia. Travis uses his MiKo in the live worship setting for click-tracks, video and lyric projection, multi-tracking and light sequencing.
"The MiKo is the perfect touring machine," says Travis. "I've been using it for every aspect of the worship market, and I have many more plans for my MiKo in store."
